They also make a bracket for a fire extinguisher. I was thinking about getting one and mouting in the back corner window on the sill. I thought it would look pretty slick and be out of the way.

Sorry but I have tried the SureFire and they are no where near the quality of the Streamlight. I used to sell both here in the store. But dropped the SureFire. Too many returns. Never had a problem with Streamlight in 25 years. Streamlight has the track record SureFire does not. I have sold 1000's of Streamlight. I think I know what I'm talking about. Not only am I a user but a seller of quality lights. Don't cut down the Streamlight when they have been the # one light for 30 years. Surefire is just a millieamp in Streamlight's beam.

I don't know, man. I've used both as well. The standard duty flashlight is a Streamlight, because they have installed the chargers in our patrol cars. When I moved to a task force, we were given an allowance to buy some of our own gear. I gave SureFire a shot, and I think they are amazing. They may not have been around for years, but I think they make a much better product. To each his own, I guess. I will stick with SureFire, because they seem to make better products to suit my needs.

Streamlights are cheaper and it is hard to say one is better than the other when comparing two similar lights. I like the adjustability of the streamlights. Im not sure now but surefire used to use a fixed bulb reflector set up that had to be changed as a unit, and therefore are not adjustable, and more expensive to boot. Streamlight is the exact opposite. Sometimes I think the surefire has a better long distance beam. But to me they arent worth twice as much. Of course I am not a law enforcement officer, and therefore dont need to blind people on a regular basis.
