alljeep,

Great setup! I have nearly the same thing (minus the lift and front receiver). I too pull a Fleetwood popup and the CRD does it with ease averaging ~21mpg. My question for you regards your front reciever. What make and model is it? I have searched the internet and only found ones for the previous KJ model. Did you simply mount the previous or is there one made specifically for the 05-06? Being able to put firewood on the front of my Jeep would be great. Thanks in advance for a response.

Draw-Tite Front Hitch #65042 or Reese #13542. Mine is the Reese. I had ordered the Draw-Tite but it was already discontinued, so they sent the Reese - both are identical. Now, though, I think it's discontinued all together. If you can find one, get it as it has three bolts per side/frame to mount instead of the 2 per side of other manufacturers. It also has built in tow loops. Mine was listed for a 2002 Liberty. They will work for 2002-2007 as the frame rail holes are the same. Just a little different trimming for the bumper, maybe... I hung shackle hooks off of mine and here is a close up to help identify the hitch:

Here is another good use of a front mount hitch - precision trailer maneuvering!!!

I found a few pictures after the lift but BEFORE the Boulder Bars were installed. This makes a major difference in appearance in my opinion. The lift raised it 2" and the Boulder Bars lowered the rockers 2" so it does look much bigger without the Boulder Bars.

Get out the Yellow Pages and looks up Bridgestone dealers. I found my deal at a medium sized repair shop on the north side of Indy, they were an authorized Bridgestone dealer. I think the large dealers are not very discounted on these tires. I struck out at Tire Rack, Discount Tire, and a few others, but local shops were good. You can also negotiate over the phone if their price is too high, just say you'll do it for $550 out the door, or something. Just thinking out load here...

There is absolutely no way, the cheapeast around here was $725 for 4 tires out the door. I called every tire place in town including SAMS. I also called some Bridgestone dealers in Birmingham.

No clue what I am gonna do now. I would even drive 1 or 2 hours to get them but I am not really confident I'll find them much cheaper.
