I have used the herculiner before and I prefer the plasti kote stuff over they hercu crap. The plasti kote has been way better for me on my roof, rails and badging.

If your going to bedline the beltline use a bedliner worth a darn and one that will last.Line-X and Rhino lining is the best but a cheaper, but still very durable bedliner is one made by US Chem(Mortans) which I used.Has UV protection and doesn't flake off after time like those junk bedliners bought at parts stores.

You know can get it with Kevlar. My beltline, flares, and OEM F/R bumbers(long gone) have been sprayed for over 6 years,my roof has been sprayed for almost 6 years, and my F/R steel bumbers and Gecko Basket rack have been sprayed for about 5 months and all still look very good.

The TBL version(which I used) cost me $200 for 1 gallon sprayable + $20 for the special spraygun to spray it(after tax and shipping). The tintable version and the Kevlar version is a little more and the tintable version needs 2oz per qt of bedliner of single stage paint of the color you want to make it.

Not too shabby compared to an actual Line X job on all you have done. Still for me though it is too much compared to a $40 gallon of plasti kote. I has been great for me so far but I've only had it for 1/2 a year or so. It is tough and easy to touch up when I slam my rock rails on a big boulder.

The $400 I spent on it is worth it since I don't have to touch it up.Just wait that plastikote stuff will not last 6+ years like the stuff I used.

Oh and there is 2 gallons of bedliner on my KJ.

So why didn't you get the best stuff and get it Line Xed? You do get what you pay for.

The stuff I use is very good is on par with Line-X except you can spray it yourself and at the time the Morton's was the only stuff with UV protection, the reason I did not get Line-X is from the fact I could not spray it myself and I did not need it to be 1/8"+ thick

Got any close ups of the stuff?

Why don't you have it on your rock rails?

No real close up pics of it.I did not spray my rock rails for the simple fact that it will get scraped off(any bedliner will, even Line-X) and would be a complete waste of money to spray my rock rails.Rattle can paint is good enough to keep them from rusting since they get used, and used hard.

Yeah I reapply plasti kote on the scrapes on my rails from wheeling. Quick and easy, seriously takes less than a minute. It gouges but doesn't peel off or anything. the stuff seems to bond really well if you prep the surface right. Doesn't peel only gets marked up. Good stuff.

From the pics you showed it looks just like Daspes KJ with the beltline and fenders done.

Yeah the stuff I use would cost you about $200 everytime you wanted to "touch-up",it is a two part mixed chemical and once mixed you have 30min to spray.

My beltline,roof,F/R bumbers, carriers,Gecko Basket rack, and just because I needed to use it all I also bedlined(inside and out) my Kilby gas tank skid.

Seems like another reason to use the less expensive stuff.

But I want my stuff to last(and look good) and not need to be touched up all the time which will end up costing more then what I paid.

I guess we'll have to see how mine and Daspes' rigs look down the road, but as of now they look great and cost a whole lot less to do it.
