were the ones from o riley Reman or New?

Advance Auto, first set then tried another set from Pepboys both were new I think, I think we ended up geting some reman. shafts from O'riley that had chrylsler oem ends on them just revamped. :wink:

The new ones you have might be ok, I just wanted you to check so that you don't have issues like we did and a lot of work !!!!!

I'll definately check... I got mine from Jeepin by Al... so they should be okay...But thanks for the heads up though!

Except that one time: when we were still working on the KJ at 2:30AM.... :shock:

I couldn't do it then! :wink:

I got some new hardware today! bushing, bearings, snap rings, etc come a couple days..

Back to sanding! :cry:

He went to Daveys Jeeps over near the border of Ohio/PA great place for Jeep stuff, not many KJs though but I would say if we keep bugging him he will get more and more

they had one liberty.. and trust me... It's stripped! :lol:

There were 2 front ends.... and those are stripped as well

2 days of grinding.... RUST EVERYWHERE!!!

1 lower control arm is painted and finished.
1 lower control arm is primed

I have both knuckles primed (no pic) going to get ball joints pressed in tomorrow
here is one sanded.. and one that is not.

one fork is sanded.. one is not....

can not even think that you did not mask them off :roll:

well get back to work you have a lot to do before the big install :lol:

I went and bought some silk gloves for the big install :twisted:

Also you need to remove the paint in the LCA where the LBJ's go through it otherwise the LBJ will not sit right in the LCA.Same goes for the knuckles where the UBJ goes through it,and do not paint the machines surface where the caliper mount mates to the knuckle also otherwise the caliper mounts will loosen up after a little while.

Yeah I know I'm going to sand all the places where the bolts go through.. etc...

I didn't paint the calipers yet (thanks for the tip) Troy...
