It's very clearly stated(by a big picture and #'s) on page 5 of the intruction manual to place the base(not cover) 70mm(+/-3mm) from the edge of the windsheild.

i didnt know daveysjeeps.com sold KJ parts!!! i thought they only sold wrangler stuff and rebuildable totaled jeeps (there was a nice 07 liberty that sold on there).

does your jeep have lockers? i forget if it does or not

No lockers.... That is going to be my next big modification... After the bumper of course..... It'll probably take a yr or two til it's locked and loaded.....

I know, I love the look of wheel spacers but I don't like the idea of having 40 bolts/lugs to deal with ..... I really like the black crager soft 8's... We'll see....

that's what i mean.. dont put it at the end (73mm) because it'll hit the inner ribs. i'd stay at the 70 or even the 67-70 range.. or like i said just find one that already has a light bar and measure it on thiers

i felt the same way about my wheel spacers and the 40 lug nuts.. but now it doesn't bug me at all. i've checked several times if they're loose and they've never been even a crack loose. i've wheeled it several times pretty hard and never had a problem with them. however i only have them because i love my stock wheels. if you aren't too attached to your wheels i'd maybe consider the soft 8's or better.. moabs!

Awesome, I will be lifting my wifes KJ with the Frankenlift II Premium and Al's upper A arms here in a few weeks. I'm also going to have the spidertrax wheel spacers installed as well.
