I bet it will since the rest of the Jeep is all black, But now you wont be able to say yours is "All Black" so you wont be allowed to the all black meetings!!

I'd like to do something like that with mine, but don't have the extra cash right now, and need the KJ in one piece since it's my DD. Some day maybe.

I used to want to paint all the accessories and suspension parts red on my jeep but I beat on it too much and it just wasn't worth it to keep it looking good. I will paint my rear axle black when I do the SFA but that is it.

Your jeep will look good though.

I finished painting the lower control arms.
Need to clear coat them after they dry for a day, and sand holes

I finished painting the front skid and the front diff cover. FINALLY SOMETHING IS FINISHED!!!

I'm leaning toward black on the knuckles... I'm going to sleep on it..

i never can get that much gloss out of the stove pipe paint i use, even though it says gloss it always turns out flat as a pancake heh

i always figured regular ol krylon rust shield would just bubble and peel due to heat, even though the trans skid is probably the only one that would get hot enough to get over 500 degrees at substantial section

Where did you come up with the little heater? You need a paint booth, plus a sand blaster, air compressor, paint gun....then you could do mine! :lol:

Thanks Tom! I do pretty good work out of a small @ss garage, with no equipment.. :roll:

The heater is mine... It was in the shed out of propane... Went and exchanged it today..

Rotating and waxing my plugs every 5000 miles gives me about .0001 better gas mileage :roll:

You can't stop there now you have to finish the rest of the drivetrain.....the engine, tranny/t-case and rear end, then you can start line-x'ing the underbody!!! :shock:
