1. Did you ever make it up that "small" hill or was it just a slope there?

2. You posted the second vid twice.

Good photography nonetheless, thanks for sharing.

man those little humps you went over in the 3rd vid, if you went back over them at some angle it looks like you could have gotten some good flex pics taken perhaps....cool stuff....

Keep em coming, Lord knows we dont have enough video circulation in this forum.

Anyone who sees these videos and thinks they are cool to watch should show appreciation and go make one of their own to contribute.

We all love seeing this kinda stuff and watching a liberty makes it all that much better!

Good lead into a computer question for videos. I have an 8mm analog cam-corder. I have a new laptop with S-video and fire-wire inputs (and maybe some others). I also have video capture software. Can I directly import analog video through the S-video input? I want to get some Jeep videos going.

The S-video jack on your laptop is probably (I'm 99% sure of this) an output jack, not an input. I'm up in Westfield, so if you give me your camcorder and all its cables, I will pass your footage through my Panasonic DVC80 camera to capture the footage digitally. I can then give you the footage on CD or DVD. Or you could invest $300 in a cheap MiniDV camcorder with analog inputs and convert the footage that way. With a digital camcorder, you'll use that Firewire connection A LOT to make video. If you plan to edit video and share it on the Web, a digital camcorder will simplify your life -- and the quality is much better.

BTW, you must have one heck of a laptop. Most laptops aren't up to task for editing video because laptop hard drives spin slower and end up dropping frames, so you get really choppy video.

Let me know if I can help.

T.J.

I was thinking that same thing about the guy going up that small hill and hosing his tranny. I wouldn't have posted something like that for video though, you are just giving the other jeep guys non-KJ'rs something to laugh about IMHO. I see so many great pics on here with KJ's going over medium to big obstacles but never any video of it.I think we need to get some real content on video. I'll try and record some, although mine isn't lifted but i go a little more extreme than that. I'm not making fun of you it's just that the majority of video i see of KJ's isn't that impressive to the rest of the jeep world and gives them ammo to broom us KJ'rs under the carpet. It's still a great feeling uploading, sharing and seeing your vids on the internet none the less. I know,I know if I can do better then do it  Maybe we should get some sort of contest going for best video..Anybody in?

I'm pretty sure I watched as your stock appearing Sport gained a frankenlift, ARB bumper, warn winch, all J skid plate, and tires in like 3 months. I wish I had a budget like that. Hope you can make it to one of our trail rides. We'll get some good video for you.

Rick
