drive your TJ in Moab (I presume it's Moab but I'm not too sure....)

I'd be looking for a new spotter after this...

Yep! Moab and it is Hell's Gate on the Hell's Revenge trail. We had a few people do it including USAFCOP in his KJ. Yes, bad spotter, but also the drivers fault. That could be the video from this last EJS since there was a story of a jeep flipping over on Hell's Gate. There was a lot of glass at the bottom.

yeah the driver took a really bad line there. However I don't think he could see it at the time.

This video popped up last year. Driver was a bit off line and way too throttle happy. Spotter didn't do half as bad a job as the driver.

Well, isn't it the rule (for the most part) that if you can't see your spotter, stop and assess the situation?

Looks as if the driver got pedal scared, or when he got scared he hit the pedal instead of letting off.

if you like that go to the Toys By Troy web site ,they make bumpers and roll cages, and look at the video of the woman who rolled over like 7 times in the same spot
that is what made me by their sport cage for my TJ

Thanks for the reminder Jason. I couldn't remember who was using that roll video for advertising. Go to the Toys By Troy site to read the story. It happened in 2002. The driver's name is Tracy and her spotter's name is Jim. The awesome part is that Tracy kept wheeling after that rollover!

Oh, and Jim rolled the next day. ;-)

That wasnt the spotters fault, he was telling him to go the other way. Like you all said, Id say he couldnt see him. I bet that spotter felt like crap! He was all upset you could tell.

the reason behind me saying a new spotter is now needed, was that the spotter seemed to change his mind to me...before you see him double left point he does initially point to the right where then the person starts accelerating and the spotter realizes the error of his ways and trys to correct with the double left point, but then again the driver should have also been aware.."hey my rig is bouncing a lot on a steep incline, maybe I shouldn't do that?"
