First set of pics is the pre-run on Wed the 9th
We were allowed inside the track at Road America - 45mph only - got to 58 myself... :D :twisted:

Look out for deer though on the track, Cristiano Da Matta, a IRL driver was testing on that track last week and came around a corner at about 120mph or faster and nailed a deer and as far as I know is still in a coma with severe head injuries. Track officials are still unsure of how the deer was able to clear the 8 foot barb-wire topped fences. Needless to say the deer was killed upon impact as well.

One nice update..... I topped 123.5 MPH today at the track at Road America - and Yes !! in a Jeep..

Darn.... that Gran Cherokee SRT is one piece of a machine - unfortunately did not drive it but instead I chose to sit with a pro driver.... took some curves way faster than 75mph

one just like this one - price tag: $48K

When driving around the track I noticed big holes in the fence - all over the track - this is when probably some cameras are placed - but definetly, there are huge holes in the fence
