Here are some shots of my Liberty and misc. other rigs heading up Carnage Canyon near Boulder Colorado last July. The trail is being closed and modified so this was one of the last runs as we know it. As the name implies "Liberta" did receive a bit of trail carnage while squeezing her wide hips past a tree. Some new plastic clips and her fender flair snapped right back into place. She is a tough gal!

Nice, nice run! With all that wet, slick rock and mud I can see why you have ARB air lockers front and rear!

That's a great write-up! Thanks for sharing. Sad to see such a good-looking trail get closed due to someone else's stupidity. This should be a reminder to all of us to not only pack out what you pack in, but pack out MORE than what you pack in.

Check your avatar size gkidesign. The picture's AWESOME, but it's supposed to be 150X150 max.

I think the trail got trashed because it was so close to Boulder and the bottom area was easily accessible by anyone with a car. It was really ugly, people were dragging all kinds of junk out there just to shoot it up with their guns. All of lead from bullets and the junk was flowing into the creek. I think the plan is to shut it down, clean it all up and make an actual parking area for trailers etc. It should be a lot nicer when it is all done and hopefully they will police it better so the trolls don't return.

The rain did make the trail a lot more interesting since the BFG KO's were just sliding all over the rocks. Rock rails and full skid plates were mandatory!

PS: I resampled my avatar picture down to 150 pix.
