It was nice out today, and our world-famous central Virginia leaves are starting to turn fall colors, so I decided to take a few pictures of my Jeep in the driveway... and then I took some on the carport. It's not real clean, because we had a rain storm last night... oh well, it's impossible to keep that black clean anyway. |

Yeah, I love it here. We're right on the mountains (maybe a mile away, if that). It's right near the Skyline Drive, and we've got a big lake in our back yard. I've lived here all my life, and my dad was born and raised in Crozet, Virginia (40 minutes away)... which has gotten a lot of publicity around here lately. It's also where they are filming the new Evan Almighty movie (the sequel to Bruce Almighty)... we went to see the Ark... which is MASSIVE. |

Very nice! Beautiful country. My wife and I like to visit Floyd County when the colors change. We should get a Skyline Drive Meet and Greet going this Fall. I had no idea they were filming Evan Almighty there! Richard's right! Check out the Carolina LOST section and join us on the Outer Banks! Jeepjeepster, I was going to ask where you decided to go to college, but you just answered it for me. Definitely not Morehead! |

Jeepjeepster, I was going to ask where you decided to go to college, but you just answered it for me. Definitely not Morehead! Floyd county! Ky? If so thats what Im from! Why would you all want to go to that crappy little town? No, Im at EKU and wish I was at Morehead. The math program is better here at EKU and I love my Math teacher, but I know about 0 people. I have family in Morehead, tons of friends, and love to go cave run when ever possible. Edit: Just found a Floyd County VA, I take it thats what you were talking about. |

Any time, man. My schedule is pretty flexible. I know the Crozet area fairly well too... Also, when we meet up, I need to show you the Blue Ridge Tunnel... it's kind of a local secret. Here's some pictures;
In front of the tunnel. I'm in the middle.
Inside the tunnel. On the right in this one. A buddy we found living inside... there isn't much wildlife in there. Shot from inside, looking out towards the exit. The tunnel exit. Let me know if you're into that sort of thing. |

It's for Black colored Renegade models. Because we like to feel special, cause we are Operating in Black Renegades. It's all Black Ops fault. But I made it an official sticker. And for the other Renegade guys, think about it: Silver Ops <-- doesn't make sense Kacky Ops <-- for the Yuppy crowd Green Ops <-- okay, not too bad Blue Ops <-- sad operations? |

Here's a pretty cool shot I took today. Sorry for the crappy quality, but I took it out of my bedroom window through the screen.

Here are some wimpy shots of my stock KJ.
I banged the skid plates up pretty good, but I think once I the weather gets warmer and I get my lift and tires on the KJ will do just fine for the kind of wheeling I like to do (more expeditionary stuff, less mud and rock crawling). |
