Or is it Ice Day???

Either way people here do not know how to drive on this stuff, I-40 East and West bound is shut down into and out of the city, same thing for Arkansas obviously. North bound I-55 into Memphis is blocked by a jack-knifed semi...just craziness...So I decided to just take some morning shots of the Jeep in the front of the house instead of even trying to get out to smy local park...Shelby Farms forthose that know what I'm talking about. So here they are....mind you we got like 2" of snow maybe but it is the ice that really shut down the city...All schools are closed today....HAHAHAHA...

Very cool Scott. Hope you enjoy the day off! We're looking forward to a blizzard this weekend...hopefully doubling what we have on the ground already  . I'm praying for it to say the least....

The KJ looks great with all of the snow on it!! Awesome pictures. :)

Congrats on the snow. I love the white stuff, but not the ice.

We were expecting several inches this weekend, but the updated forecast calls for less than an inch. We got snow nearly every day over the last week or so, but nothing really piled up. The big news here (aside from the Super Bowl) is going to be dangerously cold air and sub-zero wind chills through the early part of next week.

Yup - we're involved in that cold blast too... Thank goodness the Liberty has a phenomenal heater (and heated seats come in handy too!)

I don't like ice on the roads because no one can drive anymore

Enjoy the day off. My boss only closes the office if he can't make it in, and guess who made it in. Anyway, the streets weren't really that bad this morning, but there are some idiots driving, that's for sure. My wife woke me at 2 this morning and said, "Your going to have to go to work today but you'll be the only one there because you'll be the only one who can make it". Apparently the roads were completely snow covered at 2AM. Too bad it melted off by 6. I guess we have had our one day of snow a year now.

Yea I'm still perplexed by the closing of school....I was expecting at leat a late start if not even a closure...roads weren't bad at all when I got on them at about 9. But then again if your in the backwoods area I'm sure it was kinda slick still....I'm at work now so...whoops here comes the boss...
