I was out with some friends this past weekend wheeling at Rausch Creek Off Road Park in Eastern PA in my stock KJ (BFG KO AT's at Stock size and CB are the only mods). Here are some links to the pics and videos. It was a great ride, although the KJ took some damage. Rock Rails and skids are in my future from a friend that has a local shop, Down-N-Dirty Customs. I hope to have them, with my UK conversion completed, by the PA Jeeps All Breeds show in York, PA in July. Yeah, it was fun, but as the day went on, I was starting to get worried about how the underneith was holding up. Can't say I was the smartest going out without a lift or any armour, but too late now. The fact that I pulled my good friend's TJ was priceless though. I feel bad for bragging about it, but I know he doesn't mind. He just happy with getting through the Hummer Hole, Winch Hill, and Drain Plug. At least I know I have rails and a skid in my future from his shop, Down-n-Dirty Customs.

i hear ya, skids plate were a must for me! they really help put your mind at ease...

Yeah, a skid will be nice. The one we are planning will cover probably about 2/3 of the belly. I thought Mike was crazy at first when we were talking about it, but now I am all for it. After seeing the damage I did, I think I might look into extending it back even further. It will just suck to have to unbolt and reinstall that huge plate if anything needs to be worked on. We'll do cut outs so I have access to change the oil and filter at least.
