So tonight I go down the street to a secluded area to snap some photos at night of the sky, the clouds, and my Jeep. I get there and go through my set up stuff and preset all my camera settings. After about 15 minutes I hear about 6-9 Coyotes running around. I think of nothing of it....except actually that it was pretty cool to be out in a field surround by stars and coyotes. About 5 minutes later I hear pop pop pop....3 gun shots. They were close enough for me to want to hit the deck. Well about 1 minute after that rapid fire about 40 shots one right after another.....thats when I hit the deck and called my buddy matt. He didnt believe me till the next series of shots rang out and he could here it through my phone. I grabbed my gear and jetted. I stopped by the police station because that location where the shots were coming from is a wildlife park/open space park with trails. The cop took off once I told him and got on the radio to the neighboring department. Kind of freaky, got the blood going, and all in all it was exciting...

Thats my info on tonight....here are the photos. These arethe only ones I got off before the shots. I didnt even get to adjust my settings on my camera so they kind of suckage.

They were around 5 minutes. I look forward to trying it again, this time without the gun fire. That way I can spend serious time and learn.

:?: Who says that?

I am from Boston....so the trash talking from one town to another doesnt mean much to me. I dont get it because every place out here seems all nice and fancy. The ghetto of denver is like pearl street and 5 points right? I spent time in Jamaca Plain, Lynn, and Dorchester back east.

Hey Boostedxt, Where actually is that open space? I am over in SE Aurora and always looking for new open areas where you can get a bit of a view.
