Glad to hear you didn't get a gator up the tailpipe.

Sounds like a good reason to do some electrical waterproofing as well, and of course a snorkel to go with all that.

Hey, you're in DELAND?!?!? Me too! And Mudtrac (fellow member) is in Orange City. We should get together sometime and go wheeling. Where was this shot taken? Both myself and Mudtrac have lifted our KJs, so when it comes time for you to do the deed, we'd be happy to help.

Yea that doesn't look like it should've done major damage to your electrical. Unless you had the water rise up over the hood and into the engine bay.

Whichever the case that looked like fun!! LOL!

That was just the beginning of the water, in the middle it was about half way up the doors, so it got pretty deep. The problem ended up being spark plugs and an ignition coil pack, i got the fuel system cleaned as well since its never been done. All in all I could have done it myself for under $100, but I was pretty sure it was an electrical problem with all those codes. The trail was railroad grade off 19. I'm sure kickit and mudtrac have been on it before, I heard ya'll went on it last year during the LOST trail ride. I actually went on that trail with RedJeepCRD (Wes) and his rubicon. More pics are on here http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=15460

But kickit, I'll go riding anytime, and I will be getting the Rusty's lift right after the new year....or sooner depending on the wallets health.

I think the stock Liberty can handle up to 20" of water.
The last time I went in deep water I was more worried about my interior than the engine.
