Well, she finally came in last night, and I took some pictures first thing this morning. The mud is from last night (we couldn't wait for daylight!) from a really really light trail that just happened to have some puddles on it. Enjoy!

The big rock or the JK? LOL

I was looking at the 4-door JK before I got my KJ and I still really like them, but when it comes down to it, I got a much better deal on my libby than on a brand new model.... I intend to have a 4-door rubi one day, and I too hope to have one parked in front of my house one day.... right next to my daily driver libby.

Very nice. Makes me wish that I was $10K richer when I went to go and make my purchase...

That's actually exaclty what happened to my parents. My father was going to the dealer to get off lease in the PT Loser, and he wanted to get a 4 door Sahara. There was like...a $4000 rebate on the KJs on the lot, and jack in the way of money off the JKs. The thing is, there are almost never deals going on with Wranglers, they pretty much sell themselves. We're happy that we have one of each (of the REAL jeeps) in our driveway. I'm just hoping that in 3 1/2 years when I come off lease that DCX hasn't runined Jeep, otherwise I'm back to Sweedish cars :( .

Swedish casrs? What do you like? I've been a huge fan of the volvo V70-R with 6-speed and AWD and 350+ horsepower. (Insert Tim Allen Tool Time Arrgh, Arrgh, Arrgh!)

Glad that you ended up with one of each... I'm probably not planning on buying a brand spankin new rubi, I'll probably go for one that is a year or two old and let someone else take the depreciation hit.... if not there is always the G-waggen (G-500)

I was a Saab fan until GM ruined the brand. I actually sold my 2004 9-3 Aero so I could get the JK Rubicon. It was a nice car, but since GM bought Saab the reliability over 50k miles is...less than satisfactory. I passed 50k, the warranty ran out (great warranty btw) and at exactly 50,503 miles, the check engine light came on  . I had been wanting a Rubicon for some time now (ala 2005) and decided that it was time.

The V70R is a hell of a car...I was considering an S60R when I bought my Aero back in 2004, Saab gave me a WAY better deal, and the dealership I bought from was amazing. Most places that I was shopping saw a 17 year old boy and his girlfriend wandering around on the lot and either thought we were casing them or that we were just looking to joyride. The Saab dealer saw me, came out and greeted us, and tossed us the keys to a brand new '04 Aero and told us to take her for a spin. The salesman didn't even come along for the ride  . Just an amazing dealer...too bad their product has gone down the tubes  .

That's a shame about the volvo dealer.

I have had a lifelong affair with volvos, although I have never owned one.... When I was very young I spent a couple of birthdays in sweden while my dad installed some CNC machines that were making brakes for the Volvo cars.... and my grandfather worked for GKN who manufactured driveshafts for volvo and range rover.... I have always wanted a volvo wagon, unfortunatley my wife thinks that they are butt fugly. (Although she drives the saab 92x aero, so she does get a lot of credit for having a cool car in my book...)
