ARRRRRGH! That's my homeland!!! I've been in, or close to, those locations in those pictures - just in my old 1979 International Scout II.

Why were you out there? MAN, I want to go back to Sedona and have some fun. Back when I lived there they were still using old CJ jeeps for the Pink Jeep Tours, now they have upgraded to modern Wranglers for the most part.

Cool Pics!

Did you drive Broken Arrow? I'm heading down there in a few weeks and I'm going to drive the Broken Arrow (and other) trails.

Ya i ran broken arrow and soilders pass no problem stock. just used my skid plates a bit. pictures 2,3 and 5 are from broken arrow. all i did was use the funtreks guide book to AZ by wells. lots of trails litsed in there with descriptions and ect. heres a link to the book i picked mine up at a local AZ borders store

Thanks for the tip on the book. I'll have to pick one up before I head down there. I'm looking for some good hiking trails as well.

theres plenty around there off the trails. soldgers pass has a parking lot for 2 trails i belive. that book points out a few hiking trails also. there was so much to do within 5 minutes of town.

Just remember that if you're going to park on the trails for any length of time you'll need a Red Rock Pass, costs something like $5 and available at lots of places around Sedona.

And as far as the Pink Jeep tours, the drivers of the official Pink Jeep tours are really cool and will stop and tell you stuff about the area. It's the other companies (mostly the awkward "psychic" tours and the like) that treat you as a threat to their business.
