Warm weather today prompted me to detail the JK, here's the results.

Now to find some mud and get rid of that shine...

Its not a kj, but I guess I will say it looks "ok."

I washed it using Meguiars Deep Crystal car wash and a natural sponge, using only the finest mineralized water that would come out of the spigot on the side of the house.
Then I dried her off, again using the finest equipment-the free beach towels (never been on the sand-don't worry) that I got when I opened my checking account a few years ago.
Clayed all the paint with Meguiars Smooth Paint Clay and Megs Quik Detailer (there's always time for lube!).
Finished it all off with a coat of meguiars Gold Class paste wax.

Then, last night I added a bit of depth to the paint when I rained on it .

When did it warm up? I just flew out of Merimack after being in Jackson, NH over the weekend. It was a nice 3 degrees on Monday.

It "warmed up" tuesday- it was 35. I think that our perspectives on "warm" are slightly different .

No offence, but those front fenders on the new jk sure look cheesey, I wonder if the aftermarket will offer steel or fiberglass replacements.

I am not a fan of the flares (esp. the front flares) and the rear bumper( would get changed anyway) on the jk, I wanted a 4 dr but now I am starting to think

Very nice. I really like the new JKs.

I actually really like the plastic ones. They're...well, expendible...if you read the first-drive reports from South Africa, they're super durable, and instead of ripping off your whole steel fender when you get too close to something immobile, you just pop a few plastic tabs and the whole plastic piece comes off...then you toss it in the back and continue on your merry way, and reattach it later on (no body shop involved). It's pretty clever and functional if you ask me, looks aside.
