couple friends of mine went off road in an area theyve never been before, one got stuck (yukon) and when he was last stuck brought in the winch cable and let it pile up in one area and it got pinched... The other one (silverado) was on his way to help him out and in the depths of the tall grass lurked a stump, well he managed to get up on there pretty good and ended up breaking his transmission shift linkage after 3 1/2 hours of jacking up the truck and sawing the stump out i showed him how bring his truck to life ( he broke the linkage in drive so he couldnt restart it) it was out. now he has to lay under the truck and shift it manually from 1-2-d-n-r-p, but can shift in the cab from p-r-n-d-2-1...

It didnt look like you were stuck in that first vid. Why did you stop? Looked like you were getting ready to use the winch. :?

You do know you're supposed to STRADDLE ruts, right? That way you don't get beached  .....or....destroy the trail anymore... Methinks a locker is in store for that KJ  . Nice mud coating, it makes me jealous!

i was stuck... i was winching while my tires were spinning, i stopped because i didnt want to run over my winch cable.

Straddling the ruts is for wimps... i made that hole over time and straddling it isnt even close to difficult, a guy on rollerblades could make it.

KJ definately needs a locker, or at least an LSD.

I told him 4-low so he could actually spin a tire. he wasnt sayisfed with the amount of mud he had on it...
