Post subject:  Mopar roof rack cross rails for '05 Renegade... FINALLY!!
Just wanted to let everyone know that the Mopar cross rails (sport utility bars) specific to the '05 Renegade's large bars are now available. I saw there was a part number for them in the latest Mopar catalog, so I emailed bbjeep.com so see if they knew when they were coming out. They told me that they would arrive in a couple of weeks at that time so I told them to hold a set of them for me. I got them today. I'm very happy with the way they look. I'm so glad I waited instead of getting the Yakima low-riders (which don't ride so low in my opinion)...
The design of these is pretty slick... they sit very low on the large Renegade bars, are lockable, and have a style that matches the Renegade bars roof attachment points.

I would guess just the 05s - The 05s have a much thicker factory rail (2" diameter, I believe). Previous model year renegades have something different on the roof.

I ask because the 02 Renegades came with nothing on the top, no basket at all, and those are SWEET looking. I guess I'll have to go look and see if my roof rails are 2" in diameter as well
