I lived in Wisconsin until I was 12. Ever since I started offroading my Lib here in Colorado, I wondered what it was the trails were like back in my native land. I like your tires, they look right at home in the rocks and mud! I thought that incline you were descending in pics 6,7, 8, and 9 would have given you some slippery trouble but it looks like you handled it fine  It looks like you have your rear swaybar off and your front still on :?: that is just what it looks like to me. If so, try taking your front swaybar off before the trailhead

Actually I have both sway bars connected I was waiting to get some quick disconnects for the front and I think I am gonna fab something up for the rear to do the same thing. I have heard positive things about this for running trails. That and I was recommended to get a rear locker told this would greatly improve what I could get through.

The pic with the big slop was hairy and all the wrangler boys were giving me crap from behind about how I was going to hit the tree and in front of me I had a whole train of bronco guys watching but I made it through smooth and got a thumbs up from the crowd made me feel pretty proud there was some old guy video taping as well he was amazed at what I went through and this was his first libby he had seen on the trails actually all the guys in my crew that went were impressed with what the libby went though only highcentered once on a stop that was the only winch I needed :)

:-)r

it was nice to meet you... i hadn't checked the site and didn't know any other lost folks were going to be there... wish we would have met under different circumstances and could talk more... we were more than a bit stuck... we went with the local jeep club (Mid Illinois Jeep Enthusiasts.... http://www.midiljeep.com

here's some links the our pics from the day...

the ones we took
http://www.pbase.com/xraymind/hannibal_rocks_4282007
be sure to check out Dennis putting his YJ on it's side

some pics Ray (Rubicon) took:
http://rides.webshots.com/album/558846854PONLCr

some pics Dennis (red YJ) took:
http://sports.webshots.com/album/558845625GOTxXy

yeah, we took some damage to the rear gate.... caught the spare tire coming off of a steep drop... you can see the drop off in the pic where Dennis is winching me... we took it ealier that day... this time we decided to go around and through the creek and dinged the driver door on some roots sticking out of the bank, then buried it in the mud... lol... i hate that creek now...

Great Pics. I saw the name hannable in the thread title so I knew these would be good. Hannable just sounds mean.
