Came out real good. They still have a little orange peel but I'm waiting for them to fully cure to sand it out.

Exactly, just used translucent black paint instead of candy red.

I know you like the orange indicators, but I'd really like it if they were all red except the reverse lights.
How long did it take you? I thought 24 hrs dry time was kinda long, and what grit did you use?

It took about three days, drying is key. Believe me, if you rush it will look horrible, it takes about a week for the paint to fully cure. I baked them in the oven to help the process after I was finished. I used 600 grit to wetsand them before I painted.

For appearance, I'd also reccomend taking off the lisence plate box. It looks much cleaner, I've did this on both of my vehicles and never was hassled by the cops over 4 years.

Nice job!! If it were me...I'd either get a safari rack and throw the spare up there or put it back on the swing. To me a KJ isn't a KJ unless you can see the spare. :P
