Is that the "graphite" set, which was on sale recently? I think $130 or something like that? Question: Did you do the drilling yourself? If so what was involved., I dont have any way of lifting mine to get under there, so I decided not to buy it. Also It looks like it may be getting in the way and you may be hitting your leg to it if you forget it's there.. am I right? |

It is the graphite set, but I got it off ebay for $145 new in the box. Shipping was free since I got my dad to pick them up and ship them to me. The holes in the frame were already there, so I only needed to drill 8 holes into the body. I used a corded drill since the cordless didn't have enough juice to drill into the body. I started with a 1/8" pilot hole on each and then went to the 1/2". It came with m bolts, so I thread those through and bolted it all together. I didn't need to lift the car, I just rolled underneath. I did need help attaching the bars to keep it level and get the reveal adjusted. Other than that, simple job. I dont have any problems with getting my pants dirty on them. I'm sure it is mainly because I step on the door sill before stepping out. I can get my pants dirty on the car without them, so I've always been thoughtful before hopping out of the car. |
