Even being a detailer, I can't justify washing and waxing right now with the way the roads are.

why not, thats what you have to do. the less the salt is on it the better. and wax protects the paint with all the ice, and salt and whatever else its exposed to in the winter. im washing mine tomorrow! :)

looks good by the way!

Why? Because I have about three coats of sealant under multiple coats of Nattys Blue . If I wash it, drive it down the street, it will be dirty again. I may spray it off, but that's about it.

yea thats what i usually do. before winter get it nice and waxed up. and the rest of the winter ill just pressure wash it at the quarter wash with water to get the salt off, dont care about water spots. but on nice winter days ill hand wash it and shine up the tires and white the white letters :)

I washed mine last Thursday and its still looking decent. It has rained for the past two weeks before that so it was more dirty than it had been in over 3 months. Sad, I know.

It snowed some this passed weekend with high went which blew crap all over it. When the snow melted it left behind all the crap which spotted the heck out of it. :?

Thanks guys. I had to wash it. It wasn't washed in over 2 months, and it was COVERED, and I mean COVERED. So bad that windshield washer fluid wouldn't cleant the caked on salt off. And i've driven it around all day and it's still clean with the exception of salt dust. =) But I can't wait till it snows again to go get her dirty.

Post subject:  Different reason for not washing

I have the lucky situation of not being able to wash do to drought.... Yes, still have drought conditions here in GA and watering restrictions (which are not necessary since the sprinklers will happily freeze and crack at night) still cover washing cars. I'd use one of the commercial places, but I just don't have the time.... Maybe when the vacation kicks in in a few days.

By the way, does your silver limited have 245/70 grabbers? I'm thinking of getting them and yours look sharp, making the decision easy. Also, debating on blackwall or letters...

Yes they are 245-70 Grabbers. And they are both White/Black lettered, it just depends on which way you decide to put them out
