What are those three things on the sides of the rearmost pillars of the KJ? (Seen on the flex shots towards the end of the slideshow)

AirTabs I have been testing...three on each side and 5 along the roof line. They help with dead air off the back end of the KJ. They have helped mileage a bit (~.4mpg) and they also make the KJ more stable at speeds. I know that they don't look like much but they seem to be effective.

Good stuff! Of course, I'm partial to white sports.....
Actually, those AirTabs don't look bad at all either. Probably look cool in a dark slate grey to match the flairs, too.

Well if you look at the side of your rear tail light...it is almost shaped like an AirTab too...

You can use business card magnets to put them on temporarily until you are sure...I didn't try it but a member at GasSavers.org did.
