Just thought I would drop a line and formally introduce myself. Picked the Jeep up a couple weeks ago. Since the purchase I have done the following:

Mopar front toe hooks, full skids and sliders
Rear receiver hook
Hella 500's
BDS lift w/Ranchos
Cragar 16x7 Soft 8's w/245-75 Maxxis Buckshot Mudders
Tint to match rear windows
Pioneer/Sirius
Air horn

Anyhoo, on to the pics...looking forward to getting it muddy!!

Really nice unit. What year is it?

It's a 2004 3.7, auto, command-trac.

Thank you for the welcome. I already helped a fellow L.O.S.T. member out with giving a deal on the original 5 steelies.

Sweet lookin rig, and nice to see a fellow Ohioan! I really like the bright red KJs...I picked Patriot Blue over the red...sometimes I kick myself, but then I'd probably kick myself when I saw a nicely done Patriot Blue one, too

I don't know if he still has some, but if you're getting tow hooks, you may want to hit up the For Sale section and see if Landy has any more of the hitches he made left and snag one of those up, too...they're not much more expensive than the hooks, and they're VERY nicely built.

I am really looking forward to meeting up with you folks at group rides and helping out at lift parties. Not even sure there is anyone besides Jim that close to me.

From the way it looks, the hitches are long gone.

Jim (Towstrap) mentioned your name this morning when he picked up the rims. If there ever is a local trip planned, I would love to go!

You never know with these Midwest mood swings... Perhaps MLK weekend or Presidents in Feb.

You are close to me...I am right down the street from Meijer's on Montgomery Rd. in Loveland. Did Swmpthng ever sell the rig? I thought it was for sale?

i don't think he sold it yet. I never got his # so i'll have to message him and ask. it's a sweet lookin rig when in motion, for sure.

oh yeah, who did your tint? I've been wanting to get it done for a while, I just haven't (too much other crap to spend money on!)

Brandon...his place is at 12121 Montgomery Rd., 2 buildings down from Autozone by Fields Ertel. He has the bright yellow sign on one of the bay doors. Very good work...he has done all of my vehicles for years. His number is 683-3600.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I've still got wheels to get and some other doodads...gotta do functional stuff before I do anything else...yawn!

Have ya wheeled your rig yet?

I spent numerous hours on here and another site to figure out what I wanted to do. Everything I did was for having some fun off-road but still maintaining daily-driver status. On my list-to-do are the Mopar skids and rock rails. Thanks for the nice words :D

Nope :(

Only had it a couple weeks and just got the tires/rims on Friday. I wanted to wait to go with someone "just in case". There really is not place close to me to play without travelling a ways. I have the rear tow hook and a strap and I should get the front set this coming week.
