Took me all day to install the wiring, but drilling the bumper and getting them mounted was cake!

I went and bought the "SilverStar H-3 Bulbs for them, to match the "Silverstar Ultra's I put in the Head lamps. Can't wait for Cragars and BFG A/T's!

How do the headlights now compare with the way they were before? The 500's look real good!

Thanks!

They are MUCH brighter, not a yellow light like the standard Halogen bulbs. I also adjusted my lights up a bit to give me more distance with the beam. Took a few days to get it to where people weren't flashing their high beams at me. (which is good, because it's not cool to blind on comming traffic, or the people you are behind.) It's bright enough for me, and i've still got the high beams if i need more light.

HAHA! It's never to late to drill a couple of 3/4" holes to mount your lights, I've been able to get them where i want them, and they stay there. even when i'm putting the covers on and off, they don't move! :D

yeah, i think they are, they are only the 55w Silverstar's, but the beam is more focused than the headlights. so you can raise the beam up a bit higher to get farther down the road, but then people start flashing their high beams at you, so i've got mine a little lower than my head lights. Still is a GREAT improvement from standard bulbs though!

Be careful, IDK if the housing or the wiring will take the extra heat or not. Try the Hellas with the 55W bulbs that come with them first. You just might like it.

I have to agree with GregScuba on this one, the relay may have limits too..., I thought about the 100w H3's but they sell the same kit with those bulbs, so i'm not sure if it requires a heavier guage harness and higher amprage relay. Electrical fires are NOT fun! HAHA!
