i just got some new tires on the jeep... they are loud as hell not for the faint of heart.. they are recaps from the local tire shop they are very good been around for 45+years with 3 shops total i believe. these tires are called Gumbo Mudders. and they are rated for atlest 20,000 miles they said if they dont get that bring them back and they put 4 new on no charge... i have this in writing too.. all recaps are based off a 10ply tire so you are getting a quality caseing to start off with. tires are 245/75 r16 no rubbing untill FULL LOCK and holding it at full lock and its only a slight rub... i have no spacers yet..... P.s if anyone is interested in these tires i can buy them and ship them... and ill only charge a small fee to drive and get them like 20 bucks... so like 325 bucks i can get you 4mudders like mine. then + shipping

oh and the Red megacab is my truck i bought last year. bought new it was 52k. the 5.9D is at 500+hp thats to the Six-Gun kit and some other programs :).. i take it to the truck pulls and other events really just my DD.. last truck pull i pulled 43,000 pounds dead weight 267 feet.. with lvl 5 on the PDA programer... this truck is a monster :) :) just it looks funny on the the stock rims and tires.. i have 33s for it in the summer

here is the pics

Hmmm.............are those RADIAL or BIAS ply? (I didn't know that a: anyone did recaps anymore, and b: if they only recap bias-ply tires)

In any case, cool! 8)

They have been retreading radials for over 25 years, they hold up well if done right which most are. Wear is usually about 2/3 of what a premium new tire is but you pay half the price. Have a cousin who owns a tire store and retreading business (over 40 years as well) and never have any problems
