So does that mean you can mess with your own rig now instead of playing with your son's?

I wish...........but, no, that's #2son's rig - just realized I never paid any 'noob' dues: intro's and pics, and I'm practicing some newly-learned computer skills, 'stead of depending on #2son for the popular mechanix of the illustrated science

Yep - he's not too fond of those cheep Jeep flaps, either, but school first, then toys.

Really, why? I have the same ones and they're a lot nicer than the molded ones (and don't get all scraped up if you go over a curb). The alternative is nothing and I'd much rather keep rocks and crap OFF the paint than flying up into the bumper and trim all the time...

Agreed, the flat flaps do achieve their ultimate goal very well, almost non-chalantly - however, the molded flaps are so.......dare I say it amongst manly men?.......so....chic......there, Ive said it: they're so chic, so trendy, so hi-tech bling for on-road use - and, most importantly, the raised white JEEP on each sensuously molded-to-hug-the-fender-line splash-guard requires only a disdainful flick of the eyes in response to the constant 'izzata Jeep?' at the service station, and the inevitable 'if that's a Jeep, why're ya puttin' Diesel in it, fer?'
