 Post subject: newly lifted and tires too!

got my daystar 2 1/2 a couple of weeks ago and just decided to add tires... need rims though but the tires were exspensive enough. far as i know im one of 3 lifted liberty on this island we call Guam!

yes 265/70/16 should of went with the 285 but none in stock...

looks really good 8) thats how they should come if u ask me. i would never take my lift or tires off the KJ.

yea as soon as work allows it ill be making some skids, rock rails, saffari rack, a mount up top for lights, and maybe a bumper... might be pushing it with the bumper but we just got a big shipment of metal :twisted:

so in guam people park their corvettes on the street huh? I might have to make a trip down there. Also just noticed the plate said "GUAM USA" thats sweet, never seen/noticed that

Nice lift and tires, but i would get rid of the aluminum foil rims as well.

yea guam is part of the usa. we have 2 major bases here one at the very north is anderson airforce base and the southern part is comnavmar. then there are some small places like the hospital and some marine place. about the wheels... the tires were 260 a piece!!! :cry: so the rims will come later. so hard to find parts out here and even more to get stuff shipped out here because i can only recieve usps. anyways i got to get back to the boat now.

to comment on your statement about wanting 285 series tires. they wont fit, you need a bigger lift and A TON of trimming

look'in good!.. i bet you notice the much nicer ride than stock.. and better handling too. a lifted KJ is much like.. the 8th wonder of the world.

well the 265s rub just a little and at full lock or almost full lock in reverse. im going to cut out all the plastic in the wheel well and replace with a few layers of boat fiberglass... saws all will fix it for the time being.
