Put some seafoam in the KJ today through the brake booster vac. Waited a half hour, then got some smoke. There was little kid next door walking his little foofoo dog. He picked it up and ran inside http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vihMPXXozhg |

Haha, lookin good! Did it scare you when it wouldnt start at first? I tried that with our corolla but it didnt smoke much. I dont think I waited long enough after letting it suck some in. |

When I did mine I let it set for about 20 minutes, fired it up and saw all the neighbors looking! Going to try it on my Cherokee with 265000 on it and should be a great smoke show!! |

naaaaaaaw wasn't scared when it wouldn't start. figured that was normal. kinda got a little worried when i took it around the block and it was misfiring, makes the entire jeep shakes, thought maybe i damaged a spark plug. but it runs SOOOOOOOOOOO good right now, that and the alignment i got today really made a huge difference. Now just gotta get the rear y-link extension in to help solve some, what i suspect to be, driveline vib. |

Nice! I ran it through my '93 Toyota and got a nice smoke show as well. I've been thinking about doing it to the KJ, just got to be careful about sucking in too much and hydrolocking it (heard some horror stories of this happening on another site). How much did you let it suck in? |

Mine kept dieing on me evertime I tried to use the vacume hose trick . Then after I painted the airboxes and replaced the spark plugs I just poured it down the throttle body. Smoked like crazy, when I started it 2 hours later. No codes no back fire just a smoke screen behind that would of made James Bond proud. |

Mine died first thing with only maybe an inch gone, then when I fired it back up it sucked the rest down like I used to gulp down a ice cold long neck out in the hay field! |

That's not as bad as I thought it would be. Just nice white smoke. What would you do if it doesn't start? |

i used about 8 ounces. The first time i put the hose in it stalled. Then I restarted and just let the hose suck it up, it has some pretty good suction, so you just barely have to get the hose near the seafoam. if it didn't start...kick, scream, hit it with a hammer, poo pants, change pants, kick it again, cry. maybe not in that order. |
