Wondered on down to the new trail the mid-west guys found. Pretty sweet trail given I only went on part of it. :)

First trail(horse lick) leads to a creek crossing where I turned back. Looked pretty deep and I was alone:

Not to sure what this is all about. I guess its a property line or something:

Out-house!:

Was amazing how nice and green the water was up there. I guess its pretty clean since its in the head of no where(no straight pipes ):

Tried White Oat after Horse lick. After it started getting muddy and tight I stopped and turned at an old house:

Dirty rim:

Clean rim(gotta love waxed rims, dirt falls right off)!!:

Old trailer:

Drove around about 2 hours. Not to sure what is on the other side of the creek crossing but I would like to try it someday..

As always, gotta spray everything off after I get it muddy :D :

What you saw was only the half of it. After you turned around at the old red house, you have to drive through the creek for 500' or so. We kept going after that before we turned around and headed out.

We could really spend an entire weekend camping and jeeping in the Forest there.

I thought about going on but wasnt sure what was coming up. Didnt want to get out there and not have a place to turn around and such. And I dont like scratches...

Plus that mud hole in-front of that hole is deep! I was turning and dropped my front end in it and thought I was going to end up getting stuck. Wouldnt move in 4hi but low got it out. :?

Must be nice to be that close so you can just run out on an afternoon.
By the way everytime I see yours I think how much better it looks with the Moabs on, not because I have them but it looks good on your color. Wax the wheels now theres a great idea have to try it someday! You would of been proud of me Blake, I did wax my hood after I cut holes in it today! Nothing else but sitting inside it looks clean!

I pretty much use all meguiars. Meguiars has a new NXT out called NXT 2.0 which is what I use now.

Haha, yea, that house has seen better days tokyo. I like looking around at old houses like that out in the woods though. Alot of stories behind them Im sure.

That out house was right in the middle of no where. Not to sure why someone felt the need to put it where it was.

I miss seeing that turtle sign. I used to navigate by those signs in college. First dirt-road right after the turtle sign when heading to the Cave Run campground was my frequented firing range.

Tokyojoe, you forgot to mention the satellite dish. Gotta have one of those next to the trailer...or maybe that's where the hot tub came from...

BTW - Bearing tree signs were used when a property was surveyed back in the day before GPS location devices. Little survey sticks don't work in eastern woodland because they disappear in the deadfall. The last I heard, they plant 5' metal stakes at the boundary corners. But that was in "tighter" residential areas (like around Cave Run Lake). They probably still use the bearing tree signs elsewhere.

That looks like like a cool area to wheel! I am jealous that you have something like that nearby.

Yep, two hours on 75 in KY, then add about 30 minutes of country driving to get to this spot.

Mud you gotta keep an eye on the Midwest section, we post up runs to Livingston all the time.

The one I was on could very easily be done in stock form.

Im not sure if the little part I did would be worth your drive though.

You have skids?
