I'm heading back for the 4th Snowshoe Jeep Jamboree in a few weeks so I figured I'd post a cool picture from the third one. I winched two JKs and half a CJ up this hill, which was much steeper and rockier than it looks
Actually, one of the leaf spring shackles on the CJ snapped because its rear axle got caught on something while winching. I guess the caught axle is why my Jeep and the one tethered to the back of mine were dragged down the hill by my winch as my low battery light illuminated. I think you can see my right inner tie rod about to snap, which it did after hitting a rock when I'd just winched the last guy up the hill. I also marred three of my rims, smashed the washer pump, and knocked in the right front turn signal.
Please consider this post an official request for a solid front axle conversion kit!
