Well I went to a local truck shop, and to the dealer, and they wanted between $250-$300 for cross-bars. And all the cross bars that I have seen for the new KK's stick up REALLY REALLY high, and in my opinion are ugly. No offense to anyone, they just aren't my style....to each their own. So I figured, I could make my own, and save myself about $150-$200. So I bought myself 10ft of 1" square high quality aluminum tubing, 4 stainless steel U-bolts.....got to cutting, got to drilling, got to sanding, got to priming, and got to painting.......

And this is my finished quality. I got the black pads from a local Aqua East surfshop for $25 per set (of 2). So all and all I spend about $100. Well worth it, and the sit really low, and I think they look really good. They are VERY VERY sturdy, and will hold anything I need to put on them. Tell me what you think. I also through in a few of my boating pics for a little added bonus since its deffinatly summer time here in Florida
And a few boating pics:
