Well I went to a local truck shop, and to the dealer, and they wanted between $250-$300 for cross-bars. And all the cross bars that I have seen for the new KK's stick up REALLY REALLY high, and in my opinion are ugly. No offense to anyone, they just aren't my style....to each their own. So I figured, I could make my own, and save myself about $150-$200. So I bought myself 10ft of 1" square high quality aluminum tubing, 4 stainless steel U-bolts.....got to cutting, got to drilling, got to sanding, got to priming, and got to painting....... And this is my finished quality. I got the black pads from a local Aqua East surfshop for $25 per set (of 2). So all and all I spend about $100. Well worth it, and the sit really low, and I think they look really good. They are VERY VERY sturdy, and will hold anything I need to put on them. Tell me what you think. I also through in a few of my boating pics for a little added bonus since its deffinatly summer time here in Florida :D

lol that red trim package was an additional Florida option this year haha

Yep yep on the fish catchin', we've been catching a lot of redfish and flounder lately. Though a few weeks ago the Spanish Mackerel were running pretty good and I got a couple of 10 pounders that weekend. But mostly redfish, flounder, and snapper have been on the menu :) . My father has a 36ft Pursuit (thats him in the pic below) that he's had listed with a broker for the last year and a half that he is trying to get sold, ($90k if someone wants it!!!) but I'm trying to talk him into getting us off shore this weekend for a little Wahoo fishing.

Thanks for the compliments, and no worries on the girl comment...I appreciate that one too :D

As far as making the cross bars for you..... I would really love to. But because I work full, time, and go to school full time, it did end up taking me about 3 weeks to make these cross bars just for myself. I'd have to measure someone else's KJ and work off of their ride. I'm afraid it would just be too much of a hassle for me, especially now during the summer since I'm trying to enjoy a little extra free time since school will be starting back up again here in about a month and a half. I really would like to help ya out, no hard feelings I hope  . Its a really fun and easy process to do though. If you would like for me to write you up a more detailed description of how I did it, and how much everything cost let me know. I'd be more than happy to do so for you.
