I had the opportunity to visit MOAB for the day after working a trade show in Las Vegas. Ben was kind enough to meet me and give me a ride to the airport in Grand Junction. Ben didn't have a camera so most of the photos are of him Various action photos:
This is how we keep our shovels nice and clean. Peep the green kicks!
The dyslexic rental:
We hit the end of the trail.
Me posing with my gangsta MOAB had which I promptly left in the limo ride home. I am not really that fat, Ben is just a crappy photographer.
These pics would have been cooler if the fenders weren't all jacked up.
All in all a good day. I even got a shovel of my own to take with me. Thanks for viewing. [/img] |

Pictures like that make me really miss living in the west. Was the dyslexic KJ a rental? Or did you just take it for an extended test drive? |

Rented from Cliff Hanger. There is something liberating about drivng a rental around, especially when you're trying to make time |

I was jealous of that rental... I think he made it all the way down the trail with no more than 2 wheel touching the ground at any given time. |

Those are not my tracks. We electect not to go down this trail due to the lack of tracks from others, neither of us has been down the trail before and Durangotang did not want to mess up his pristine shovel. |

Oh there is. It's a story of preserving one's looking good even in the face of possible extreme bodily harm. It's become a mantra of wheeling in the Rockies region. If you prove yourself to these mountain men, you too can earn a shovel of your own. I had to work extra hard because I was a Utahn and CO guys are racist against us. |

Hey, I grew up in Ft. Collins....I resemble that remark. And it's not racism. It's STATEism. |
