I think if you cleaned up the rough edges of the rear bumper it will look good. This may be a dumb question but are those covers over you lights or did you paint the lights? If they are covers, where did you get them and if not how does it look with the lights on? Also if they are covers, do they offer any real protection or just looks. Thanks.

yeah im just procastinatin on smoothing it out
but the head and tail light cover i got from www.summitracing.com. they were something like $30 a pair. and yes they do over some portection but not much. not like if i backed into a tree, they would break, but if there is alot of mud a rocks then when im finished, all i have to do is take them off and i have clean lights.

I like the painted covers! Very cool! From the looks of the pictures, it looks like a really nice job on the paint match. Did you do the painting, or did you take them to someone?

The rear receiver is just the wrong size. I don't know if it's, maybe, for the wrong year...do the 05s and forward have different clearances between the mounting holes and the lower rear bumper skin? The Uhaul hitch does not require cutting on the 05s, neither does the Mopar one. It'll be fine once you clean up the cuts, but it's a shame you had to do it.

On the other hand, your hitch is higher than ours, offering slightly better departure angle. Silver lining, eh?

Let us know if you can find out who the manufacturer is. Enquiring minds want to know.

Dont want to be behind you out on the trail and not being able to see you stop, well except for the roof brake light, but looks cool sitting in the drive way though I guess, always pop them on while at the mall

Yea, thats what I was thinking! More so since he has a sticker on his 3rd brake light, makes it harder to see too. He said he only puts the tail light covers on offroad and I guess he is a cop so he knows whats going on. :)

I wish my hitch sat up like that though, find out for sure what year or where you bought it at, I would tear mine off in a minute to put that one on

Can we get some day and night shots with them on and the brakes being applied? That way we could tell if they would block all or some of the light and stop people from seeing you brake on the trail.
