Perth! Hey I've been drunk there! Loved that place. Great people too. Wish the Navy would let me bring the KJ on the boat, wish I could I could wheel that. Awesome. |

I've noticed that many of the pics posted from Down Under have ARB bumpers, but I don't recall seeing winches fitted into any of them. What is the deal lads? |

Every time I see a pic form there it makes me want to move back. I loved it there. I spent some time bouncing from family member to family member back in 1990 and had a blast. Hit most of the east coast from Cambera to Airlie Beach (sp?) then out to Adellade. If I could land a job there I would probably drag my wife there in a heart beat, lol. I think the biggest thing I had to get used to was to pay for condiments at fast food places, lol. |

Thanks guys, Yeah for some reason not many rigs here seem to have winch's....well lets say not as many as one would think given that we have some awesome trail's. I've lived in Perth for about 4 years now and prior to that in Sydney. Airlie beach up in Queensland if FUN!!! Cheers Neil |

Cheers Neil if you dont mind me asking where are you getting the gears from? and how much did they cost? Im looking for some and I called one place and it was $572 for the front and rear and install kit and whatever else was needed |

Best Iv'e seen is $217 for the the front with the install kit at $98 thru trailquest.. The rear for $206 with the install kit for $88. Total price, without shipping of $609. Your deal sounds pretty good to me... |

I only know one KJ in Syd with a winch (probably others as it's a big place), I know a few that have ARB's and no winch. Could be a cost thing, well at least it is for me. |

I dont have a clue on price individually I just called up Reider Racing and asked how much 4.10 would be for front and rear and everything needed to be installed |

KJ looks great, looks like you guys had a blast Thanx mate, Yes it was fun!... there's talk on the news that fuel prices in Australia will drop by about 15Cents which would be great! In perth we currently pay around $1.55 per letre for regular unleaded fuel. Premium cost's more but last's longer and is better for the vehicle & I've been using that for awhile only because I've got a mate that works at the local fuel station I fill um at, so I get a discount. |
