Custom made light bar for my KJ

So I spent a couple nights with my dad making this light bar. My goal was to make it very low profile but functional, and it deffinately hit both! I don't have any pics yet of it on at night, but I will soon.

The nice thing is that I can also have a ski rack or cross bars since its all the way up front. It was pretty easy to make, just required some patience and creative thinking...

Very subtle. Are they up/forward far enough to illuminate the area immediately in front of the jeep or are you using them mostly for longer distance?

i like the blue lights b/c they match your blue KJ

They do a really good job of illuminating distance, but its cool becausse of the way they are mounted I can angle them down to get a bit more in front of me as well as completely lay them face down flat (not sure why I would need to, but good to know I can)

And actually my KJ is black, but it still looks alright with the blue :-)

Interesting design. I'm interested to see how far forward of the front bumper the light pattern begins. As dgeist said, they are so far back and so low, that can't illuminate directly in front of the vehicle, but you also won't have any glare off the hood. ;-)

Great light bar. What size are those wipers, looks like they are way too small. Should be 19-inches I believe.

The wipres are 19" but they are those Michelin Radius wipers which are flat looking.

he's got front fog lights on the bumper for up close so those will fill in the night out ahead of him.

i use 20" blades...they work perfect
