wow, I really love that one with the ice on the trees!

Where abouts on the parkway where you? I was up there myself not this past weekend, but the weekend before that (November 6th). Considering the lack of rain this year, I was quite surprised at how well the color turned out this year.

well i am all over.. a few of those pics are taken near Linville area of the parkway and the rest are taken near Crabtree Meadows and Mt. Mitchell areas which takes me to my house.. in fact to get to the local Walmart, i have to take the Blue Ridge Parkway its so cool..

the picture with the ice/snow was at Craggy Gardens.. it was sooooo cold that day.. just think that was about 3 weeks ago.. its always windy and cold there and that day I had to drive to Asheville because one of my dogs was getting neutered in a cliniic there and he was being mean and trying to bite the vets so they called me to come there just to get him out of the dog crate they had him in.. so i drove all the way there.. went in.. 15mins later i was on my way back home taking the parkway..

cool! I thought a couple looked sorta familiar. I got on just south of Boone (where I left off last year) and went down to Linville Falls and stopped there cause the parkway is still closed beyond that point. Once they get it opened back up i'll continue down to Asheville, where I wanted to go this time.

Heres the thread I started a couple of weeks ago......well apparently you found it before me....LOL

Yeah a last year I went back up with my friend and we were gonna go to Mt. Mitchell, but I remember it being closed off too. Didn't know that was opened back up again, will have to remember that for next year if I get to go again. Trying to make it a once a year thing.

cool man.. i goto asheville every once in a while.. i live in Yancey county.. Keep an eye out for me.. I have a LOST sticker on left side of rear window.. plus a Stitch character from Disney's Lilo and Stitch.. my libby's name is Stitch thats my fav Disney character.. and not many khaki renegades with brush guard
