finally, i put it in. i just sat down and did it, no bitching and moaning like last time. looked it over and got off my lazy butt and bought a tool or two and did it. walmart jack, jackstands, and darn gravel driveway plus some freaking hellacious rain right in the middle of it all. but, i wasn't giving up this time. i was tired of seeing the lift sitting in the shed staring at me everyday saying you wimp, get out here and install me. the wife and kids like the jeep alot more now. they say its nice to be as high as the fullsize 4x4s and we have the only lifted liberty in town. now we need bigger tires and a light bar. here is the pics for you guys enjoyment
here she is, the day i looked longingly at her sitting in the car lot. i took a picture so i could see her every time i got on the computer so my wife would get the hint. that picture was my background for a while. the wife picked her up while i was tdy in san diego in march of this year.
here is all the stuff that came off to be replaced with lift stuff. its all still good except the upper ball joints (which makes the upper arms no good) and the wore out front springs.
here is the finished product. beautiful!! i am going to have to measure for the other thread though but it is alot taller then before. my wife even commented on how she has to use the grab handle on the inside now. |

Hold onto the rear isolators, you may want to use them later if you decide to go higher or you get too much settling... Your red UCAs sound like JBAs (Jeepin-by-Als). |

Love the color (shale green), its quite a rarity. I think its only a 2002 thing.
