I like Patriots, with the right tires, wider rims and right modification & accessories, it also could look pretty cool. It's got potential.
Not off-road but on road.

I always chuckle to myself when I pull next to a Patriot at a stop light. I'm always thinking, "There's no way I would ever consider taking that off-road."

different vehicles for different purposes. a patriot with good tires and the offroad package would be great for light forest roads and pretty much everything else you would come across getting to scenic locations, campsites, etc. its only a problem if you want to go looking for obsacles to drive over. plus it gets pretty good mpg and is a little smaller so would be better in the city.

honestly, for what i use my liberty for, i think a patriot would be a better fit.

orange one with some all-terrains would be perfect.

the only thing i've never liked about the patriot is the relationship of the round headlights to the shape of the grille and hood. i would almost rather it had headlights more similar to the kk liberty and commander. fits the body shape better.

I looked athe Patiots before I bought my KJ but just couldn't get past all that cheap feeling plastic in the interior and the body sheet metal is paper thin. open the hood and take a peek down into a fender. just too cheap for the amount of money they are asking for them. I'll take a used KJ any day over them.

Drassis,
How much/what lift you got on that thing? Looks so much taller than mine.

Tis true but I've looked at it up close and it really looks like won't take much abuse.

And to note I would rather drive the compass than the patriot, better gas and performs better....

when ever a jerk in a tj with a 6-8 inch lift pulls next to you, find a patriot and park next to them. that will boost you ego
