Post subject:  dirt days

went to a local race facility's 'dirt days'. it was at Beaverun in Wampum PA.. I did the medium to hard trails along with all wranglers (most lifted rubicons) and 1 long armed cherokee. i actually made it up one hill that a Spring over axled CJ7 on 38 swampers didnt make it up :). Lockers/lift/skids were required for the trails i was on but there were also a ton of FJ's and small isuzu things that did the easier trails. here are a few pictures and a video.. the video is of a few obstacles but not of any of the real hard ones. Most of the trails were very very tight and technical... some rocky creek beds with hills and water falls that were too tight to get out and video. over all it was a blast and i'd for sure go back!

it's the basic franky with the rancho's... i swapped out the front springs for the OME 790's (HD springs for the CRD KJ's) and added an extra rear upper isolator. no problems at all.. i love the lift!

inc- better rock rails on on the list.. but after gears. would be nice to have some extra clearance.

thanks for the fine compliments... it was a blast but need more liberty's to go next time!

well it must not have been too bad if that Hyundai made the trail ride!

how did those V-cross things do? I saw one lifted the other day running 33's and i loved it.

great looking pics and I'm glad you like the lift as much as I do, even if we are a bit different set up!

i couldnt tell ya.. those funny looking things took the easy trail with about 6 FJ's and a toyota truck. i did the medium-hard ones with all jeeps.. and your right.. OME790's and ARB with winch go together like peanut butter and jelly :)

Nice video/pics. It looks like that Toyota couldn't make it up the rock because his front end was too heavy for the limited traction he had.
