Hard to tell from the picture who is pulling who. I'm guessing the Libby is pulling the Wrangler (looks like it is high centered). Since I have both a Wrangler and a Liberty I see it as a Jeep helping a Jeep and that's a good thing. :D

Also... anyone who has never needed a pull is taking it too easy!

I was pulling the wrangler off some rocks he got high-centered on. The picture was taken about 16 months ago. At that time, I didn't try to go over that obstacle, opting for the bypass. Just so happened I was in front of him, and couldn't resist the photo op. I've got more lift, more armor, and know my Jeep better now. Next time I'm there I'll go over that rock.

been high center once on my first trip to Rausch Creek. I felt bad about it cus I could have made it if I did it a little different. No one in the group made a big deal of it, they just pulled me back and guided me back over the rock a better way. I was pulled by a TJ too. I would have love to be one to pulll though so I understand your pride. show them what a Liberty can do.

lol good stuff :)

while i was at the beach surf fishing one night, i was standin around talkin to my friend that was out with me about the differences between full-time/part-time and how open vs limited slip vs lockers worked

we were kinda drunk, but not beyond still having reason, right next to us was a spot where the sand dropped off at about a 60 degree incline, i had him back his TJ down it till the sand was pretty much right at the underside of his jeep, then try to get up it in 4w-hi PT, couldn't do it just dug holes

then had him back up to an even worse position, and put it in 4w-lo and just ease the clutch out and it creeped right up it, where before he'd have 2 wheels pulling due to the wheel spin, but in lo visually it looked like all 4 were pulling, very slowly ;)

and he crawled right up it

i straddled his tracks and backed mine down it in a fresh spot, and showed him the same thing with mine so he could see it for himself even tho mine is locked, and in 4w-hi PT, without really giving it alot of gas and causing too much wheel spin, i couldn't do it either, and basically all 4 of my wheels would stop pulling at all due to having so much resistance against them
made sure and explained to him that's how you overheat your transmission and or burn it up

switched to lo and drug it back in 1st patted the gas once with a slight amount of brake and got out of the vehicle and stood beside him while it crawled right on up, then walked up and got back in my vehicle as it got to the crest and drove it back around beside him

was a fun Jeep-School moment :)

anyone can get high centered or in a bind and need assistance, i've only been stuck once and a yoda with a terra low crawled me off a gigantic log that my tire caused to pop up out of the ground, he even put one of those air bag jacks under me to keep stuff off my drive shaft

but, like i said, only been stuck/high centered once, tugged quite a few and it was usually people who had misconceptions about tire pressures and what not

for some reason many think the more air in your tire the better it works on sand? they learn quick
