I drove down to Waveland (southwest) MS last week to visit family then headed to Gulf Shores AL for 2 days. Anyhow, I found a nice trail to take the KJ on. Got the frame stuck trying to stradle a real dark mud puddle and had to have a Ram pull me out. Got her down in the red stuff. Put 2000 miles on in a week :( .However, clearance won't be an issue from now on because the Frankenlift 2 arrived via UPS right before I went down there.

I enjoyed my time with my family (and my KJ). I realized that it's pretty comfortable to take on a trip but it's not fast enough to accelerate past cars doing 75 mph on the interstate. I actually used my off road lights on interstate 20-59 down in AL at 4:00 am. I got terrible gas mileage doing 79 mph on the interstate about 15.7 mpg. I noticed it rides kind of rough, but like I said the Frankenlift should take care of that too!

Looks like that was a nice trip. Awesome pictures!
If you think 15mpg on the interstate is bad, wait until you lift it and throw on bigger meats.
You won't regret it though!
I can go through a quarter tank in no time.
Hey those stuck pictures really do not look all that bad. If you had the Frankenlift on and something else beside street tires, you could have gotten through that no problem!

Looks like you had fun.
You need a tune up or something our '05 will get 23-24 on the highway @ 72mph, but then those extra mph will eat it up in a hurry.

I know the feeling Terry. I get about 11mpg when hooked to the 6.5x17.

hey great pictures !
you would have gone further with OffRoad tires. Even further if you were Frankenlifted. I had the same issue a few weeks ago, when my buddies had to tow my every 30 meters: i had Duratracs but not Frankenlifted yet. now it s done.
Here is the thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=56320

as per the MPG, the way to go is CRD !!! :pepper:

Have a lot of fun !!

That trail looks fun. I wish we had something that cool around here. The pictures were taking on the worst phone ever, but they turned out decent. AT2's and the Frankenlift will do wonders!
