I really dislike wheel weights, so I added 5 ounces of dynabeads to each tire. It rides much better than those stock tires. 8)

Looks great. Those tires were on my short list too, but I got Terra Grapplers on recommendation of the shop.

looks great! i'm jealous of your rock rails.. i need some of those! do those beads feel unbalanced if your accelerate quickly?

also.. off topic.. but how much weight did that synthetic line save you? thinking about changing out my steel cable while my winch is out of my ARB

also also... a nice cheap mod for you would be to put some lights in those shields under the ARB... also would make your jeep not 'illegal' :) plus they make your tire look real cool at night haha. for a few bucks a piece you cant beat it! they come with pig tails.. just wire into the parking lights are your good to go :frankie: :JEEPIN:

Thanks for the compliment. Just give RL a call and I'm sure he'll be more than happy to send you a set of those rock rails.

There’s nothing quick about the KJ; however, my Dodge Cummins turbo diesel can really get up and go and I haven’t had any balancing issues. Those beads are very small, as a matter of fact, they come with valve stem cores with built-in filters just to keep the valve stem free and clear of dynabeads. I have dynabeads in all my vehicles and I have no intentions going back to wheel weights. 8)

I'm not sure the exact weight difference, but it's a very noticeable amount. Besides saving weight, the synthetic line is stronger and much safer. 8)

Alex, I know we talked about this two years ago. You say they are easy to find, but I haven’t any side market lights that fit. :banghead: I’ll be more than happy to pay you to pick up a set and ship them to me. How does that sound? :D

Thanks for the compliment. 44 is max PSI for these tires. I run them at 35 PSI at cold.

Those side marker lights should be the same side marker lights that are used on box trucks and 5th wheel trailers, grometed .. 2"? round trailer marker lights

don't remember the diameter of them but used to go through a box of 50 or so every other weekish when I was a diesel mech

any tractor / agg supply or anywhere that deals with trailer lighting would carry them if not autozone/advance/orileys in the trailering section

I’d have to find the receipt to give you the exact cost, but it was around $700.00 for all 5 tires. Firestone has a buy 3 and get 1 free for the month of June. The tires came with a 50,000 mile warranty, lifetime rotate, road hazard protection, and TPMS kit. Overall, I was happy with the total cost knowing that I’m protected for the next 50,000 miles and considering we only drive approximately 7,000 miles per year on the KJ.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can find them when I go to town next.
