Yesterday I decided to go ahead and spray my tail lights with VHT Nightshade after I changed the air filter. I was planning on taping off the back up and turn signal areas but after much frustration I couldnt get the tape perfect and just did the whole thing. I also installed sylvania silverstar reverse lights so I can still see when backing up at night. :jester:

I used the leftovers to do my Ranger, I went a little lighter on them.

Next I have to install the frankenlift sitting in my garage and get General Grabber AT2's.

What do you think?

I also used lens tint on my brake lights and 3rd brake light. But my indicators up front are blacked out as well.

Looks good

if you are getting the gg at2s go with 245/75 16's and I got mine from discounttiredirect.com for less than $500 for 5 shipped to my house! I am in no way affiliated with them, just wanting to pass some hopeful good news along.

I've purchased two sets of tires from them, i think they have the best prices. No sales tax and free shipping. Definitely recomend.

Discount Tire has a shop semi-close to me so I will call them tomorrow and find out what they say. I called TD (tire discounters) Performance today and they said 5 AT2's would be about $1050. On Tire Rack I can have them shipped for $850ish.

So I just checked my tire pressure (probably should get into the habit of that) and I had to let air out of all of the tires they were mostly at 35psi and one was at 42psi. So anyhow how much psi would i put in the AT2's for street driving?

Thanks for the comments on the tail lights. I just bought Silverstar lights for my brakes because a couple people think I will get rear-ended because the light doesnt show through enough. Well, they should do the trick!

So the Silverstars didnt make any difference in the intensity of the brake lights. Soooo now I have THEE BRIGHTEST turn signals in the land. Were talking practically HID status. Anyhow here are a few more pictures.

Take whatever the cheapest price is you can find, print it out go to whatever local tire shop you want to deal with and price them, then have them price match. I did that with my last set and they even installed/balanced them for free.

Had a tire shop price me out a set of Kumho Road Venture ATs for $600. That included take-off, mount and balance, even new valve steams. They even offer a promotion all the time which is you get a free alignment with the purchase of 4 new tires. Thing is I didn't like the tire and I'm sort of leery of the tire. I haven't seen anyone on here running them but I've read good reviews about the tire on tirerack.com
The person I talked to at the shop was the owner and he said his wife sees my Liberty out in town alot and really likes my Jeep.

Best thing is to do what Tom said. Personally, I'm kind of leery of buying anything offline, even tires.

Just pray that you never get rear-ended because you will most likely be faulted. Also Insurance companies do not have to pay for any damages because you "willingly modified safety equipment"
