there are tons of pics with water crossing.. here is one of mine.. this is across the south toe river in western nc..

i try to come on to the meetings but my schedules change daily.. so by the time i get home sometimes all i want to do is eat dinner and watch tv :) i hit the carolina lost area a lot but i need to hit a few more places to make sure they are cool beforehand

YESIREE, I made it!

You can go as deep as your hood line, as was said, without taking water into the engine. (So lifting your KJ raises that line, don't forget.) But "making it" depends on a host of other factors associated with not getting stuck, like tires, the rocks you cannot see underwater, how slick ithe mud is, your line taken, etc.

That crossing in my Avatar, I made it after my very experienced trail guide got stuck in his lifted and modified TJ and took major water into his tranny, ending his day! (not sure why I sent in after him!)

The KJ is capable. Everything gets stuck at some point. ;-)
