Traded in the kj for a tj rubi today... Used 8500 miles 6 speed in khaki (I dunno what the factory name of the color is). So far I'm extremely happy with it. Going from the auto in the kj to a standard with the rubicon is a completely different drive. Ill get some pics up once its nice out and I have some time. One problem though, I think the doors were rigged to not turn on the light when the door is open because the previous owner used it w/o the doors a lot. I see the little tab that gets pushed in on the side of the jeep, but Im not sure how to get it to turn the lights on when the door is ajar. Any ideas? Im not sure what you have to do to make the door light never come on so I have no idea how to remedy this. Anyways, Im happy! edit: looks like im missing the fuse... anyone know where I can get one to replace it? Local auto parts shops are napa and car quest. |

i payed a difference of about 10k for the rubi (its an '06 6 speed soft top with 8400miles).... dealer asked 24000 for it so i got 14k for the libby (2005 renegade with 30k miles, leather heated seats, tow package, full mopar skids etc...) dealer said liberty from pre 08 is losing its value (or at least its under pressure) from the new KK, and they already had a lot of libertys on the lot I expected a max payout of 15k on the liberty so 14k wasnt a shocker |
