I'm trying to change the head on a standard 2004 TJ shift handle. How does this remove? It doesn't seem to turn. Thanks in advance for any help... |

Are you talking about a manual transmission shift knob? If so, you need to get a very small flat head screw driver and jimmy it into the gap between the knob and the cap with the shifting sequence. The cap will pop out and expose a nut (I believe it's a 10mm). Take the nut off and the shift knob comes right off. |
