Picked up another FSJ. These pics where taken at the PO's house:
1980 Model 16 narrow track 2-dr Cherokee. There is no motor in it, but it has the T176/208 combo. In the back at delivery will be a 727/208 so I can put a V8 in it in place of the 258. |

Thanks Tom, but it seems that enough stuff follows you home to keep you in the dog house as it is.... I get it Sunday 11/30. It is coming from Wisconsin & oddly enough my '79 came from Wisconsin. If it looks as good in person as it does in the dozen or so pics I got, I'll be pleased. It is far from perfect, but for a 29 yr old jeep it tain't bad. It even has a floor! This is probably the best deal I have ever found on a jeep. |

NICE SCORE, IC! And it's already rattlecanned a hideous color, so you don't have to worry about marring factory paint:D |

And it's already rattlecanned a hideous color, so you don't have to worry about marring factory paint:D It originally belonged to the State of Wisconsin Parks Dept. and was a fairly nasty shade of road-truck yellow. The custom rails & bumpers aren't my first choice, either, but the price was right. I gotta find time to go over to West Harrison, IN this week to look at a 360 in a Waggy. I can hear it run, but that means another trip back after he pulls it to get it ( if I buy it. ) UPDATE: I bought a 47,000 mile '73 360 ( 245hp/365 #) for th '80, so it is going to be a 360/727/208 for sure. Here is a pic of the "older borther" '79. It now has 34x10.5x15 LTB's on Outlaw II's instead of the 285/75/r16 Trxus M/T's on Soft 8's pictured here & a mid 80's "muscle grille." I am not musch of a picture guy...

LOL. The green one has ugly paint & a decent body. Yes, it was painted with a roller. The green one is a more rare body style & is pretty solid, but I just don't know if I like the rear fender's "skirted" look. I am toying with the idea of cutting out the wells and putting rear TJ flares on the front & rear. The TJ rear flares follow the body lines of the front fenderwell very well. |

Yes I never liked the skirted look either but still like any of the 2 doors, I keep looking but not serious enough until I get moved out of where I am and can have some room to park extra "junk" I almost bought a panel two years ago, thought about it one day too long, been kicking myself ever since |
